Executive Members
Charles is a dynamic Psychotherapist, Consultant, and Social Development Leader with extensive experience in mental health, community wellness, leadership facilitation, and organizational transformation. As the Co-Executive Director of Okuhle Resources, he is committed to advancing mental wellness, psychosocial support, and sustainable community development through culturally relevant and people-centered solutions that strengthen individuals, organizations, and communities.
A South African descendant with international professional experience across Canada’s public health, Indigenous wellness, and social development sectors, Charles brings valuable global expertise grounded in diversity, resilience, and cultural understanding. His work reflects a deep commitment to empowering communities through practical interventions, strategic leadership, and transformative mental health initiatives.
Charles has worked extensively with Indigenous and multicultural communities, leading impactful programmes focused on trauma recovery, suicide prevention, organizational wellness, and capacity development. Known for his calm leadership, strategic insight, and ability to connect across cultures, he has successfully partnered with government institutions, nonprofit organizations, educational bodies, and community stakeholders to deliver meaningful and lasting outcomes.
He holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Social Work from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and is a Registered Social Worker in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Charles is also an EMDR Trained Therapist and an experienced facilitator in trauma informed practice, mental health awareness, and leadership development.

Amanda is a seasoned Human Resources and Labour Law professional with extensive experience in workforce strategy, labour relations, and leadership development. She is the Co- Executive Director of Okuhle Resources, an agency committed to supporting individuals, organizations, and communities through professional mental health services, capacity building, and trusted consultation to build healthier, thriving environments.
With multidisciplinary experience across sectors including HR consultancy providing strategic HR advisory, recruitment services, organizational development, HR technology solutions, Financial Services, Legal, Engineering, Construction, Energy, Fintech, Consulting, ICT, Education, and Public Health, Amanda has built a reputation for helping organizations strengthen governance, enhance workplace culture, and develop high-performing teams.
Amanda holds a National Diploma in Human Resources Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law, along with certifications in Human Resources Administration and Project Management. Her expertise is supported by extensive professional experience in human capital management and organizational transformation.
